Being a brown girl who was born and raised in England has its own set of challenges which I am certain brown girls across the globe face. It's a bitter-sweet experience to live life from a perspective of being proud of your culture and heritage whilst simultaneously it being the reason you question normalcy. This piece touches on a large scale of issues we face as women, more significantly as desi women. May we continue to inspire all women around us because we are great!
